  • Our classes are geared for anyone who loves food and has an appetite to learn. Whether an absolute novice in the kitchen or destined for Le Cordon Bleu, we will provide delicious food, fun and useful facts around recipes, ingredients and origins, and the opportunity to earn to use a host of kitchen tools and gadgets.

  • The only prerequisites are an interest in food, the ability to listen and follow instructions while working in a group setting, and an understanding of the importance of being respectful to fellow classmates and teachers. Each recipe has been carefully tested and re-tested for use in a group setting, and we ensure there are skills and techniques included in each class, with each recipe.

We are offering a wide range of age groups in one class period. There are limited numbers of spots for kids ages 5-6 and ages 7-9, with the majority of the spots available for kids ages 10-14. Older students will have the ability to work with guided autonomy while we give extra attention and assistance to the younger chefs.

April 23-25: Huli-Huli Chicken & Coconut Lime Rice: A bit sticky, sweet and smoky, this Polynesian poultry dish is sure to be a hit in your home! Huli is the Hawaiian word for “turn” and huli huli chicken is turned constantly as it is cooked. Paired with a scoop of coconut rice and grilled pineapple, it will your tastebuds on a trip to the islands!

April 30-May 2: Pizza Pinwheels: Looks like a cinnamon roll, tastes like a pizza! We will start with fresh pizza dough, roll it out flat, add toppings of your choice and roll up and cut cinnamon roll style. Delicious hot out of the oven and equally good in a lunchbox or as an after school snack the next day.

May 7-9: Spaetzle with Brown Butter & Fresh Herbs: Spaetzle is a delicious, tender noodle/dumpling. Perfect with a simple sauce of browned butter and herbs, this homemade German spaetzle recipe is foolproof and oh so fun to make!

May 14-16: Moroccan Chicken Skewers & Roasted Potatoes: The flavors of lemon, garlic and ginger in these Moroccan chicken skewers are amazing, and the color from the turmeric and coriander make them visually irresistible. Finish things off with a bright green herb sauce and we have a slam dunk of a dish.

May 21-23: Lemon Berry Snack Cakes: bring on the bright, fresh flavors of summer with these cute little snack cakes, laced with lemon and studded with berries.. Perfect for breakfast, brunch, or any time snack attack needs to be satisfied.
